Kavanot is the magazine of The Leffell School, an independent K-12 Jewish day school in Westchester, New York. In collaboration with their Office of Institutional Advancement, we develop the content, write, art direct the photography, design, and publish new issues biannually.

Named for the Hebrew word meaning “sincere feeling, direction of the heart,” Kavanot focuses on the school’s unique values and commitment to its students and families, alumni, and the greater community. In addition to serving these audiences, it importantly functions as both an admissions and development tool.
