This Spring, Jessica Weber’s Designing for Non-Profits class at Parsons School of Design will be rebranding Bottomless Closet — an organization that works to reduce the barriers many women face in the search for employment while also providing on-going support and education so women gain the tools to succeed in their professional lives.

Jessica Weber will be on the panel judging the entries for this year’s 63rd Annual Jesse H. Neal Awards. The Neal Awards are the most prestigious editorial honors in the field of journalism. Named after Jesse H. Neal, the first managing director of Connectiv, the Neal Awards were established in 1955 to recognize and reward editorial excellence in business media.

This past Autumn, Jessica finished up another successful semester at Parsons School of Design, teaching “Design for Non-Profits.” Her students worked on a real branding campaign to rename LIFT, Legal Information for Families Today, which works to enhance access to justice for children and families. LIFT provides legal information, community education, and compassionate guidance, while promoting system-wide reform of the courts and public agencies.
Jessica Weber will serve on the faculty of the Institute for Charitable Giving’s Major Gift Roundtable seminar on Advanced Major Gift Fundraising and Leadership in Chicago March 22–23, 2017. She will lead the roundtables on strategic communications and design—teaching how to weave mission and vision statements into branding and publications, making them come alive, and helping to tell a more effective story. She will assess attendees’ communications materials giving one-on-one critiques for relevancy, urgency, clarity, and action! For more information, click here.
